It’s a few days before Kurt has to go to New York for Nationals, and since Blaine knows their nightly phone calls will be limited, he’s trying to get in as much Kurt time as possible.

After talking on Skype for an hour (Kurt’s been digging through his closet for weeks to come up with the perfect outfits for New York and Blaine is more than happy to reassure his boyfriend how hot he is), they log off just to take their conversation to the phone, both of them under the covers and starting to drift off.

“—and that’s why we should wait until we’re both out of school to get a cat,” Kurt says around a yawn, and Blaine smiles into his pillow. He loves to hear Kurt talk about their future, like it’s not ridiculous to be so sure about it even though they’ve only been dating a few months.
